Recording

I opened Beautyrock recording studio in 1998 as an all analog studio. Beautyrock is now a hybrid of digital and analog. We run Pro Tools MixPlus with a Tascam M3500 analog console I inherited from the legendary Dangerous Music (yes, the Rolling Stones used our console).

Beautyrock was built with the musician's fulfillment in mind. I feel that an artist's vision is best served by seeing their ideas through without the constraints of high studio cost. It is better to spend more time at an affordable, yet well-equipped studio, with a talented engineer than to spend less time at a studio costing thousands of dollars a day. The more time you are able to spend recording, the better performances and sound you will have in the end.

We cater to all kinds of music- Rock, Pop, Indie, Punk, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Christian, Buddhist, Atheist, as well as voiceovers and audio post for video. We offer full album production services- manage budgets, hire musicians, write arrangements.
